Trey’s 1st Blog

This blog is about coming into my first college English class, what I think about myself as a writer, and my relationship that I have with writing thus far.

Trey’s 2nd Blog

This blog is about what I have learned about myself as a writer after our 1st essay project. I wrote about the important things that I have learned about Rhetorical Genre Analysis.

Trey’s 3rd Blog

In this blog I talked about what I learned about conducting research from our first research paper. I also talk about what I think makes a “good researcher”

Trey’s 4th Blog

In this blog I talk about what I have learned in this class as a whole. I talk a lot about what I’ve learned about rhetoric and myself as a writer.

Multi-Media Campaign

I used three different genres to educate people on the history of Hawaiian surf culture and how it has shaped the surf culture that they know today.

Genre 1

I wrote a blog to give a brief summary on the history of the surf culture in Hawaii and how it has evolved over time.

Genre 2

I created an Instagram page where I post short videos and pictures about the history of surf culture in Hawaii.

Genre 3

I created stickers to peak people’s interests and make them curious about what it means to “Save the Surf Culture.”

Rhetorical Rational

This is my Rhetorical Rational for my Multi-Media Project, where I explain what I did and how well I think each genre worked.

Project #1

In this project I wrote a paper on rhetorical genres in the game of football

Revised Paper

This is my fully revised paper.

Revisions Reflection

This is where I reflect on the revisions that I made to the paper.

Project 2

In this project, I wrote a research paper on the evolution of the surf culture in Hawaii and how it has grown into what surfers know it to be today.

Composition from Another Class

The Lion King and The Old Testament

This composition is a paper that I had to write for my Introduction to the Old Testament class, comparing and contrasting events in the Old Testament to a movie.

Rhetorical Reflection

This is the Rhetorical Reflection that I wrote about my paper, where I describe and explain the rhetorical choices I made in writing this paper.

Design Statement

This is my design statement for my ePortfolio, where I describe the design decisions that I made for this website and why I made them.
